A little about myself
Hello! My name is Michel Gamache, I am a 20 year old freelance photographer out of Ottawa, Canada. Being the son of a photographer, it's fair to say photography has been a part of my life since my early childhood. But it wasn't until about 3 years ago that it really became a passion of mine also. I started out with my dad's old Kodak Pro DCS-14n and then got my first camera (Nikon D3000) for christmas the following year. [Which then ended up getting stolen a year later, but that's a whole other story]. Which ultimately brought me to purchase my current camera, a Nikon D7000, and now my Fuji X-Pro 1. I love shooting film as well, I enjoy this artistic, precise side of photography. I shoot film with various cameras ranging anywhere from a Hasselblad 500c/m to a Sinar F1 to a Leica IIIg to a Holga 120n! Photography has grown into something so large for me, it is apart of me from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to sleep. I know this is what I want to be doing as a career.
